Navigating our past and our present can be tricky for everyone, and we can lose the thread that guides us home to our wisdom and our clearest, most compassionate self. We may feel anxious and alienated from ourselves and others. We may feel stuck in unhealthy patterns within ourselves and our relationships, unable to move forward. We want to be seen, to be freed from the pain, resentment, and beliefs that hold us in painful patterns, and to move through life with clarity and wisdom.
Couple, individual, and family therapy create a space to explore patterns, traumas, unresolved pain, and childhood wounds. The decision to participate in therapy can be one of the best investments you make in yourself and your relationships.
While being in a safe space that is understanding, caring, and collaborative, I can guide you on the path for growth, connection, healing, and change.
Relationships are the foundation of what gives meaning and purpose to life. Marriage counseling and relationship therapy is my specialty, as I have a passion for helping couples strengthen and deepen their connection. My overarching goal with couples is to facilitate the development of a secure bond between the couple, where each partner can count on the other to be accessible, attuned, and responsive while also being true to themselves.
Through individual counseling, I guide you as you work through lived experiences, the associated feelings, and interpretations of those events that weigh you down like a heavy anchor. As we address the symptoms that led you to pursue therapy – depression, anxiety, shame, problematic behaviors used to numb uncomfortable feelings, spiritual concerns, or relationship issues – you’ll develop insight and new coping strategies, creating greater resilience to support you in life.
In family therapy, through a structured and safe setting, we can explore family roles, dynamics, expectations, and modes of communicating while becoming more intentional about the family you want to create. We work together to recognize one another’s strengths, accept differences, and clarify misunderstandings. Family therapy also facilitates the building of pathways for greater communication, healthier family roles, healing, and the restoration of relationships.
VIP Days are longer sessions that allow you to take a deep dive and work in more organic time, allowing you to get underneath the surface and gain renewed perception with guidance and structure. These three-hour sessions are an option for couples that have difficulty committing to weekly therapy due to busy schedules, travel, or challenges finding childcare.
